The residents.
Four of them. Varying levels of chaos.
All deeply convinced they have better taste than me.

Fig is a grey and white tuxedo kitty and my OG foundling. She arrived first, unexpectedly and has forever stolen my heart. Her seniority and authority is observed in this household and she enforces it quietly, with her eyes, from across the room.
She sits on the keyboard during video calls, reluctantly agreeing to move to my lap after some negotiation. Has strong opinions about when I should stop working (now). Is usually right.

a very smol explorer
Coffee came to me from a rainy parking lot where I first found her - she was just the smollest little bean. She likes to go outside and bring back complicated feelings about the neighbourhood. She follows me everywhere, yes, including the bathroom where she likes to maintain eye contact.
Always ready for a play session - if one isn't available, she'll very much arrange her own. Fearless Dreamy huntress. When she wants something, her face is cuter than Shrek's Puss in Boots'.

...or not
Lumen is the only one who joined our household intentionally. He's both cuddly and ferocious but most of all he's just the silliest. Has the thinnest little meow, despite being the size of a small horse
He loves sleeping in the weirdest poisitons and stealing everyone else's food while barely touching his own. The softest purrito machine with very little in his pretty head.

Ferret. Full name Pickle. Goes by Peek because that's what she does, constantly, from inside boxes, bags, the back of the sofa, places she shouldn't be.
Lives in tunnels and chaos as a lifestyle. Arrived unexpectedly. Stayed, obviously.
If you made it this far, hi. Thanks for clicking the cautious link. You can go back to the about page or pretend this never happened. Either is fine.
